Truck Crash Causes Morning Delays on State Highway 2 Near Pikowai

Traffic was disrupted this morning along State Highway 2, just west of Pikowai, following a single-vehicle incident involving a large truck that flipped onto its side.

Police said they were notified of the crash at around 6:30am. Two police units attended the scene, though no ambulance was required as there were no reported injuries.

Traffic was reduced to a single lane on the southbound lane of the Matatā Straight, while emergency services responded. The road was fully cleared and reopened to normal flow by 8:45am.
