Police investigations are ongoing into a two-vehicle crash in Kawerau yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Tamarangi Drive at around 3.20pm.
"Two people were in a moderate condition at the time of the incident." a Police spokesperson says.
St John responded with one ambulance and one rapid response unit.
"The ambulance crew assessed three patients at the scene, transporting two of those to Whakatāne Hospital (1 x moderate condition, 1 x minor condition)." a St John spokesperson says.
