A 21-year-old man has been arrested over the death of a man in Kawerau last month.
One man was found dead on the front doorstep of an Onslow Street house on February 26th.
Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Wilson said the 21-year-old was arrested in Hamilton today.
He will appear in the Hamilton District Court tomorrow, charged with murder.
Wilson is pleased someone has been arrested in relation to this tragic incident.
“We would also like to thank those members of the public who provided information, and would still like to hear from those yet to come forward,” Wilson said.
Police continue to appeal for anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in or around the Onslow Street area.
Wilson said they're aware of “some other people in the general area” around 5.15am-5.50am on the morning of February 26th and wants them to come forward and contact Police
