Crews attended a fire at a BBQ Pitstop trailer at Rugby Park in Whakatāne this morning.
Two crews from Whakatāne were called to the fire at 9.25am.
It occurred during the second day of the Bay of Plenty Rugby's third annual Youth Development Cup.
"It was well involved upon arrival," a Fire and Emergency spokesperson says.
"The fire was extinguished at 9.46am." the spokesperson says.
Crews then left the scene around 10 minutes later.
