Bay of Plenty Police Search For Two Missing Men

Police are on the search for two missing men from around the Bay of Plenty


Bay of Plenty & Taupo Police posted on their Facebook page yesterday in search for a missing man named Peter.


Peter was last seen in Whakatāne at around midday on Saturday.


"He was wearing a grey jacket and brown suit pants and normally uses a walking stick," the post said.


"Police and his family have concerns for his welfare and would like to see him return home."


Police ask anyone who may have seen Peter or who can assist them in locating him to contact them on 111 and quote file number 231119/4101.


Police are also appealing to the public for information regarding missing Tauranga man, 28-year old Harley Shrimpton.


Harley was last seen by family members in Tauranga around two weeks ago.


"Harley, aged 28, has been reported missing by his family and there are concerns for his welfare." A Police spokesperson says.


Police ask anyone who may have seen Harley or have information which could help in the search, to contact them via 105 and quote file number 231117/9085.
