Results are based on all people in the Whakatane, Kawerau and Opotiki Districts.
• 60% of the Eastern Bay population are radio listeners. 1XX attracts a 69% share of these listeners and reaches 57% of the entire Eastern Bay population.
• 1XX reaches a greater proportion of the Eastern Bay population than any other local media. (As measured by AC Neilson Media).
• 43% of 1XX listeners are in the 30 - 49 age group, 23% are aged 10 - 29 and 35% are 50+ .
• 1XX listeners are more likely to be employed full time and to be earning substantially more than the average regional population.
• 54% of 1XX listeners are the main household shoppers, with 21% the equal household shopper.
