Moko to star in documentary

Plans are in place for a documentary on Moko the dolphin's experience in the Eastern Bay.

Marine biologist and filmmaker Amy Taylor is searching for people who want to share their encounters with Moko on tape.

The Bay of Plenty woman's passionate about dolphins and filmmaking, and says making documentary on Moko allows her to combine the two.

Ms Taylor wants to capture the relation between Moko and the people of Whakatane.

She says it's a unique situation, where the locals have a huge affection for him and interest in his wellbeing.
